End Of The Line
This game was created as part of my bachelor’s degree, and is an experiment in combining walking simulator style narratives with digital card game mechanics. I worked on the Creative Direction, 3D Art, Game Design and Narrative of the game in collaboration with a small team.
Background and Process
In End Of The Line, the player is dropped into a post-apocalyptic world where an other-worldly being named Eddie has come to Earth and plunged the Island of Singapore into an ethereal winter. They promise to leave and return things to normal if and only if someone can beat them at a card game of their own design.
As the Player, you play Penny, a young woman forced to learn to play Eddie’s card game as part of a generation of people who are trying to win the game. Having risen through the ranks, you play Penny in the final stage of her journey where she must confront Eddie and reckon with a world in perpetual crisis.

NOTE: this game is still a work in progress, and further developments will be updated here and on my itch page. Below are some concept sketches, close ups of 3D models, and in game screen-shots.
